Behavior

Within a "family" of a large number of children some rules are essential; these are mostly matters of common sense, to ensure safety of our children. The emphasis in the school is to praise good behavior, attitude and effort and increase children's awareness of the need to make a positive contribution to their community.

When sanctions are necessary they will be appropriate to the child and the incident.

Be gentle Do not hurt anyone
Be kind Do not hurt people's feelings
Work hard Do not waste your or others people's time
Look after Do not waste or damage property
Listen to people Do not interrupt
Be honest Do not hide the truth

All the rules and regulations that are in force from time to time are binding upon the pupils and parents. Ignorance of the current rules and regulations will not be an excuse for the lack of compliance. Some extracts of the current Rules of Discipline are published in the school diary.
