Houses

At St. Patrick’s Academy, the house system is devised to promote team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school. Aided by dedicated staff members as House Masters/ Mistresses, this system provides ample and excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support, besides enabling students of different age groups to bond together and operate as a cohesive family. The Houses compete in different cultural, academic and sporting events throughout the year; and we witness a zealous participation from the students to win the coveted House Trophies.

O’Brien House

The O’Brien House is named after Bro. Ignatius William O’Brien. He was born on 29th December 1908. A young man full of life and gaiety, he was fond of games and played on the school hockey and football teams.
Bro. O’Brien himself, was not ‘conformed to this world’. His concern and his endeavours were for the community, the Province, and the Congregation.Bro. O’Brien was called from us on the 30thof June 1982, suddenly and unexpectedly.
