Dear Parents/ Guardians
As the Vice-principal of this prestigious institution, I deem it a privilege to pen down my message for the dear Patricians. I feel very fortunate to be working with a dedicated, committed, caring and innovative faculty; supportive parents and well-wishers of the Patrician fraternity. May God be gracious to you for your noble contributions towards the institution and nation-building, on the whole. Today, we are living in a rapidly evolving complex society which presents before us myriad challenges as well as opportunities. In this context, it all depends on every individual’s response to each circumstance with the right mindset.
I remember the words of Benjamin Disraeli, “Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think.” Indeed, we need better thoughts to be better humans and to build a better society. In this modern world, we also need to develop an education system based on values. The education imparted should be child-centric; and such, that it makes the heart and the mind flourish. We, at St. Patrick’s Academy, aim to mould our pupils into ‘nation builders’. The seeds of wisdom sown today in the form of students, shall reap tomorrow in the form of responsible citizens.
I wish and pray that every day be a special day for every child who enters the portals of St. Patrick’s Academy with a heart and mind set to grow more than before. I take this opportunity to thank Almighty God for his benevolence, generous blessings showered upon our institution through various people and events. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Principal, Rev. Bro. Earnest Martin, who always guides, inspires and supports me in all that I do. May our patron, St. Patrick, be the guiding force and may the blessings of the Almighty be with you all for a successful and fruitful academic year.
Bro. Manu Mathew
